Condolences:

I have fond memories of Don from way back in Jr High when we were cheerleaders together.  We were 3 girls and Don and he was by far the cutest! My thoughts are with his family at this time.

Uncle Donny,

YOU WELL BE MISSED BY ALL! YOU WERE ALWAYS THERE WITH A JOKE AND YOU TOOK OUR TEASING SO WELL. I WONDER IF YOU CAN GET SHORT SHEETED IN HEAVEN. WELL GUESS WE'LL HAVE TO WAIT FOR US GIRLS TO JOIN YOU FOR THE ANSWER TO THAT ONE.  ALL MY LOVE TO MY NORTH DAKOTA FAMILY. SORRY THAT I COULD NOT BE THERE.

Julie

While its been some time since I last seen my Uncle Donny, I have fond memories of him, the bachelor uncle. As young teens, Donny behind the bar would send us girls off with a few dollars to go to the cafe in Sarles rather than hang in the "bar". Donny was always kind, with a grin and a smart remark to make us laugh. While never spoken, I sensed he understood how a child's hurt felt, by the grown-ups issues of the day. I will for always and forever remember that gentleness. Donny will always be missed!

Our prayers & thoughts are with the family at this sad time.  We have such good memories of Don in the halls of Munich school, pep rally skits and faithfully attending Kyles basketball games.  How you loved the kids!  We will miss you!

To the family of Don.  You are in our prayers.  May God bless each and everyone of you.  We are not able to come to the funeral but we will be thinking of you.

To the Family of Donny:

Yes, Donny, you were the gentle, loving cousin who always had a smile and hug for us. I will never forget the moment at our last family reunion when you "out-bid" your cousins for the "T-SHIRT" with all of our signatures on it.  You were proud to be a "Schuler", and we in turn were proud to have you wear that special T-shirt!!

Yvonne Schuler Thiessen

Kathy and Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.  I never had to worry about the Munich School with Donny and you in charge.  God Bless.

Just wanted to express my deepest sympathy to you the family of Don. I had the privledge of working with Don and found him to be a wonderful man. He will surely be missed. Peace to each of you and blessed  his memory. I don't know if this will help ease your pain ,but Don got the best Christmas gift of all, he gets to be in heaven on Jesus' birthday - what a glorious thing. Despite how difficult it may be right now someday you too will see him again.  Peace to you all.

Cathy and I wish to offer our condolences to Don's family.  Our dear friend, Karen Maag, sent us notice of Don's passing. Don's upbeat demeanor and positive personality were trademarks!  I so enjoyed having him work for our schools during the time we lived in Munich.  Greatly enjoyed time spent with Don on the golf courses also. He took pride in all that he did whether work or play.  That is a trademark his famioly and friends can be very proud of when remembering his life.

Our prayers are with you during this time of loss.

Russ Fletschock
