Tim G. Larson
Timothy “Tim” G. Larson, 62, of Bisbee, ND passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at his home.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bisbee Lutheran Church. The family is receiving visitors at the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home in Cando, ND on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday.
Tim was born on May 4, 1948 to Glenn Austin and Betty (Wayne) Larson in Devils Lake, ND. In his early years he attended school in Minot and Rolla then graduated from New Rockford High School. He went on to attend Mayville State College. Tim returned to Bisbee to help with the family farm. He also drove bulk truck for Farmers Union in Agate, ND. On August 2, 1975 he married Sheila Mahlum. From this union three daughters were born. Tim moved to Wibaux, MT where he worked on several different ranches. Tim married Karla Weisenberger in 1989. They had three children together. He went on to drive truck for Glacier Carriers in the Flathead Valley, MT area. After returning to North Dakota in the late 1990s, Tim worked for Dahl Trucking and Clouse Trucking both of Langdon, ND. His most recent employment was with Peyerl Trucking of Cando, ND.
Trucking seemed to fit Tim’s restless free spirit, but some of his favorite moments were spent fishing at the Bisbee Dam or at Lake Metigoshe. He also enjoyed spending most of his summer holidays at Lake Metigoshe with family and friends.
Tim is survived by his daughters: Wendy (Brian) Lang and Lindsey Larson of Jamestown, ND and Courtney ( Ronnie) Mundy of Broaddus, TX; two sons: Tyrell and Craig Larson of New Rockford, ND; and daughter: Haley Larson of New Rockford, ND; two sisters: Cathy (Russell) Fletschock of West Fargo, ND and Lori (Dean) Oakland of Bottineau, ND; two grandchildren: Cody Mundy and Lane Larson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Glenn Austin and Betty Larson; two infant sisters; and grandparents: Oscar and Emma Larson and Arthur and Jean Wayne.
