About Us

Troy Senger

Troy was born in Williston, ND. He grew up on a farm near Sheyenne, ND and graduated from Sheyenne High School in 1988. He attended UND-Lake Region College in Devils Lake, ND and graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service of Jeffersonville, IN with a degree in Mortuary Science in 1993. He married Cindy Toso of Devils Lake in 1994.  In 1995 they moved to Cando, ND where he worked for the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home. In 1999 they moved to Grafton, ND where he went to work for a local funeral home there. He returned to the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home in August of 2010.

Troy and Cindy have a daughter, Haylee. Troy is a member of Cando Lutheran Church, Cando Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Sons of Norway Prairie Fjord Lodge of Cando, North Dakota Funeral Directors Association where he is currently serving as Northeast District Governer, and National Funeral Directors Association.

 

 

 

Dean Steinwand and Marnie Brooks Steinwand

Dean and Marnie are honored to be able to carry on the services of Dunnigan Dix Funeral Home.  Marnie is a third generation licensed funeral director.  True respect for the families she serves, complete attentiveness and competency are at the top of her list of priorities.  Dean and Marnie have a true love of funeral service and the difference it can make in the lives of grieving families.
