Nettie (Anganeta) Ann Funk Ledbury, Cando, ND, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at the Towner County Living Center, Cando, ND, at the age of 104 years, 2 months, and 7 days. 

She was born on January 14, 1905, in Rosthern, Sask., Canada.  She was baptized in Swatze, MN, by her uncle.  She grew up in Wolf Point, Montana.  On March 19, 1927 she married Frank Ledbury in Langdon, ND. 

Nettie and Frank moved several times for his job with Cargill.  They lived for many years in Sarles, ND.

Nettie enjoyed and did beautiful knitting, crocheting and cross-stitching.

Survivors include her children Joyce (the late Raymond) Peterson, Highmore, SD; David (Joan) Ledbury, Grand Forks, ND; Paul (Barbara) Ledbury of St. Cloud, MN; daughter-in-law June (the late Gene) Ledbury, Minot, ND; 10 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 8 step-great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, son Gene, her parents, 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Nettie donated her body to the University of North Dakota Medical Science in Grand Forks, North Dakota.  Burial will be at a later date.

A memorial service will be held April 4 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Highmore, SD, at 2:00.
