Angie Gori, 69, Rock Lake, ND passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND. Private services will be held.

Angie Gori was born August 13, 1945 in Rolla, North Dakota to Max and Caroline Murdock. She was raised on a farm outside of Rock Lake, North Dakota. After attending college in Idaho for one year she worked on the Dworshak Dam in Idaho for a few years.

She then became employed by the Army Corps of Engineers and remained with them for the rest of her career. She received many awards from the Corps for her work. During this time she lived and worked in Vietnam, South Korea, San Diego, California, and finally the Air Force Base near Anchorage, Alaska.

She married Colonel Floyd Gori in 1983 and the couple lived in Eagle River, Alaska. She has two stepchildren, John Gori in California and Janet Garcia in Nevada.

Floyd passed away in 2013 following a lengthy illness, and in May of 2014, Angie moved back to Rock Lake. There she enjoyed reacquainting herself with friends and relatives for a short time before passing away in Trinity Hospital in Minot after a brief illness.

She precedes in death her three siblings, who will miss her dearly. She leaves behind her brother Robert (Bob) Murdock and his wife Maria of Cuenca, Ecuador. Her sister is Jean (Betty) Brooks, her husband Tom and their daughter Halley Decker of West Allis, Wisconsin. Her other sister is Linda Jones of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She will be missed by her family and her many friends as well as by her two beloved cats, Mary Alice and Jill. She will be buried next to Floyd in Arlington National Cemetery.
