Bernard (Edwin) Bonn, 84, Bisbee, ND, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the Towner County Living Center in Cando, ND.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Cando. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral mass at the church. Interment will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Bisbee, ND in the spring.

Bernard (Edwin) Bonn was born June 17, 1927 in Agate, ND to Ed and Margie (Boatz) Bonn. He attended Pleasant Valley #4 and completed high school courses by correspondence. He also attended NDSU in Fargo, ND for a short time where he studied farm-related courses. He farmed the family farm until his retirement when he moved to Bisbee, ND. In 2008 he moved to Parkview Assisted Living in Rolla, ND. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Bisbee Senior Center.

Bernard is survived by his brothers: John Bonn of Lake Metigoshe, ND, Larry (Beverly) Bonn of Rolla, ND; sisters: Ferne (Tom) Brannan of Devils Lake, ND, Judy Reed of Cando, ND; and numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gladys Bonn.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Mercy Hospice, 420 4th Ave. NE, Devils Lake, ND 58301


Condolences:

I'm so sorry for your loss. I always remember the tricks Bernard would play on me when I was a little girl while he would visit my Grandpa Fred in Rugby. He will be greatly missed. Unfortunately my family and I will be unable to attend the funeral but will be thinking of you tomorrow.
