There is also a memorial account at First State Bank of Cando.  Cameron, Tenley and Bennett want to express their deep appreciation for the love, support and donations given by family, friends and onlookers.

Brittney was born to Jody and James Thomas in Devils Lake, ND on January 25, 1992.  The following year her only sibling James Leigh (JR) was born. Brittney and JR formed a tight bond and supported each other in every aspect of life.  Brittney graduated from North Star in 2010 and received her associate degree from studies at MSCTC and LRSC.

Brittney moved back home with her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Cameron Donn Beck in 2011.  In 2012, they welcomed a healthy baby boy, Tenley Richard, much to the joy of grandparents and members of both of their families. On February 23, 2013, Brittney and Cameron were united in marriage in Las Vegas, NV, surrounded by family and friends. Their dedication and devotion to each other has been an inspiration to many.  In 2015, their family was completed with the birth of Bennett Ray.  Everyone could see the love of her little family radiate from Brittney.  Her life rotated around the boys and her love for her soulmate, Cameron. She and Cameron took pride in attending and cheering on their boys in sporting events.  But it didn't stop there…they also supported and attended games of the children of others close to them.  The Becks have often been heard to say that "Family is Everything."

She found her calling working at Noridian Healthcare Solutions as a Claims Specialist and moved through the ranks quickly, being promoted to Supervisor of Operations in March 2021.  Brittney was always there instantly for the employees, teaching and helping them with kindness and a vast knowledge of the operations. She recently received her 10-year service award from Noridian.  Along with her job success, Brittney became an ordained minister in 2015 enabling her to officiate weddings for family and friends.

Brittney had a zest for life and the power to make people happy.  She loved getting together with family and friends, camping, razor riding, fires in their backyard, storytelling, ladies' get-togethers, and was inspirational in many gatherings, helping spread joy, laughter and true companionship.  The best times were spending nights playing games or watching movies with the boys and sometimes their friends or cousins.  She found joy teaching Tenley and Bennett how to make various snacks for their activities. One of her cousin's remarks was "to know Brittney was to know life."

Brittney adored her parents and often shared one on one time with her mom, Jody.  They never parted without saying, "I love you" followed by a big hug.  Never was anyone more a "Daddy's Girl", being showered with affection by her loving father, James (Jet). She just knew she had him wrapped around her little finger. After losing her Grandpa Rick, she often gave a helping hand to Grandma Glenda (GG), from painting her nails to organizing the kitchen to decorating the home. Brittney was delighted to be godmother to Aliyah and Nevaeh Smith and Kaysen Pederson.

Brittney was always willing to lend a hand or ear to anyone and gave outstanding advice with no judgement.  Brittney had a heart of gold to anyone she knew.  She will be greatly missed by many.

Brittney is survived by:  Cameron (husband), Tenley and Bennett Beck (sons), Jody and James Thomas (parents), James Thomas Jr (Tayler) (brother and sister-in-law), Glenda Thomas (Grandma), Carlene and Tom Gerald (Aunty and Uncle) Joe and Becca Thomas (Aunty and Uncle), Donn and Lori Beck (mother and father-in-law), Caleb and Lauren Beck (brother and sister-in-law), Caitlin and Hunter Bandt (brother and sister-in-law), special friend Courtney Pederson and many aunties, uncles and cousins.

Brittney was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marlene and Eugene Tetrault, Richard Thomas, Lloyd and Linda Marcus, Bernard Beck and Uncle Terry Tetrault.
