Obituary

Clinton M. Church, 70, of Bisbee, ND passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 1pm at the Bisbee Lutheran Church, Bisbee, ND with Rev. Bonnie Weaver officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be at the Bisbee Lutheran Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Halling-Scobba Post #129, Bisbee American Legion and the North Dakota Military Funeral Honors Team.

Clinton Church was born on January 23, 1942 in Cando, ND to Gordon and Tilda (Krokan) Church.  He was raised and educated in Bisbee, ND. Clinton joined the Army after high school graduation, where he was stationed in France for three years. When he completed his military duties, he worked for TWA Airlines as a mechanic and cargo worker in Chicago and Denver. Clinton moved back home and became an entrepreneur as he drilled wells all over the state of North Dakota. Later in life, he raised cattle and worked for the Nicholas family near Bisbee, ND. He was united in marriage to Grace Charbonneau in June of 2008.

Clinton loved working with his hands doing carpentry work; building a work shop and garage on his farm. He enjoyed spending time on his computer communicating with his family and playing cards. Clinton's true passion was spending quality time with his family and friends. He will be forever remembered for his sense of humor, his strong work ethic and his kind heart.

He is survived by his wife, Grace; children: Angela Grant, Bailey Charbonneau, Bryan Windjue, Jodie Windjue, Kimberly Reuther, Dawn Stephans, Denise Bulone, Duane Neau, Sandi Church  and Bret Church ; grandchildren: Austin (Sarah) Anderson, Justin Stalock, Kayla Reuther, Katie Reuther, Alex Weis, Mitchell Windjue and Allie Windjue; brothers:  Jim (Claire Ann), Dennis, Terry (Wendy), and Dave (Sandy) Hoover; aunt: Mildred Peterson; cousins; and many nieces and nephews. Clinton was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister Audrey; and his brother Lee Church.

Sympathy to all the family! We just wanted all to know how we appreciated Clinton checking on Mom and Dad and helping them when they were in Bisbee.
