Connie Jean Warbitsky, 60, of Cando, ND, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND after a long battle with cancer.
Connie was born January 15, 1954, at Anaconda, MT to Jack and Ellen (Langerud) Hunt. Connie attend school in Montana, Cavalier, ND and Rock Lake, ND. Connie was united in marriage to Paul Campbell Sr. on January 23, 1971. To this union, two children were born, Carolee and Paul. Connie was united in marriage to Gerald Warbitsky of Mohall, ND on May 18, 1981, and to thisunion four children were born: Amanda, Anthony, Alicia, and Abbie. They owned and operated the Ace Bar in Rock Lake, ND in the 1980's and early 90's. Connie was a homemaker, worked in food service and health care until her retirement from REM of Devils Lake in 2007 due to her illness. Connie was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed doing ceramics, gardening and canning. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Connie is survived by her children: Carolee (Daryl) Vote of Egeland, ND, Paul (Becky) Campbell Jr. of Williston, ND, Amanda Jo Warbitsky (Jonathan Whitehead) of Dickinson, ND, Anthony Warbitsky (friend Becky) of Fargo, ND, Alicia (Michael) Fenner of Kindred, ND, Abbie Warbitsky (friend Dakota) of Minot, ND; grandchildren: Carolee and Daryl's children: Alayna and Hunter, Paul and Becky's children: Krista,Michael, Shelby, Skylar & Keaton, Amanda's son Dylan, Anthony's children: Marcus, Christopher and Jade, Alicia and Mike's children: Garrett and BriAuna; siblings: Roger (Roberta) Hunt of McClusky, ND and their children Kyle (Heather)Hunt & family of Underwood & Jennifer Hunt of Fordville ND, Lori (Rick) Lowery and their children Sara, Jacob & Emma of Langdon, ND; uncle Orin Hunt of Thief River Falls, MN and aunt Anna Hunt of Rock Lake, ND. Connie is also survived by Paul Campbell, Sr. of Cando, ND - father to Carolee and Paul Jr. & Gerald Warbitsky of Oakes, ND - father to Amanda, Alicia, Anthony, and Abbie.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents and numerous aunts & uncles.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Cando United Methodist Church of Cando, ND.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service in the church.
