Dawn Marie Lecy-Nadeau was on this Earth with us for a wonderful 54 years. She was born on April 2, 1969, to Frank and Laura (Teague) Lecy in Rochester, MN. She passed away on the morning of April 16 th due to a car rollover accident. She left for work early in the morning while it was still dark and while driving, she hydroplaned over water running over the highway due to melting snow. She lost control of the vehicle and had a rollover accident, which caused the car to land in a flooded ditch on its roof.

Dawn graduated from Pine Island High School and went on to college to later become an LPN. Not only was Dawn a hardworking nurse, but also a mother to two beautiful children, Megan Marie Chumani Lecy and Orlando Joseph Lecy. Dawn was also the daughter of Frank and Laura Lecy, sister to Mark (Denise) Lecy, Craig (Heidi) Lecy, Galen (Shannon) Lecy, an aunt to several nieces and nephews, a friend, and a grandmother. She always managed to put others first before herself no matter the consequences and was always first to volunteer a hand when someone needed help. Dawn had many big dreams and planned to make them all come true no matter how crazy people thought she was. She was always determined and worked so hard for them to come true.

Dawn, as we all know, was never a city girl. She was raised in the country on a farm and that's where she always wanted to be…on a farm. She loved her animals, probably more than she loved some people. On her current farm she has two horses, one cow (that is expecting a calf soon), two dogs, three cats, two chickens, and two rabbits. While this is what she had for now, Dawn expected to bring many more furry friends to the farm in the future, for she loved animals and always wanted more.

She is loved and will be missed by many.
