Delores Krick, 79, of Cando, ND, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Towner County Living Center in Cando, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cando, ND with Fr. Daniel Musgrave celebrating the mass.  Visitation will take place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, November 3, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by a 7:00 PM Rosary and 7:30 PM Vigil Service. Burial will be held at the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Bisbee, ND. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Music will be provided by Gladys Fluge and the Sacred Heart Choir. Casket Bearers will be Josh Ensign, Zach Ensign, Bill Krick, Dan Johnson, Brent Keller and Al Edwards.

Delores Margaret Krick was born on October 20, 1938 to Genevieve and Robert Krick in Rolla, ND. She lived with her parents on a farm in Towner County, Gerrard Township in rural Bisbee, ND. Later they moved to the city of Bisbee. Delores was baptized and confirmed at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Bisbee. Delores attended Bisbee elementary and high school. She then attended Wahpeton State School of Science where she took her nurses training. She continued her training at St. Luke's Hospital in Fargo, ND and at Mercy Hospital in Valley City, ND. Delores then received her certificate to be a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked at St. Joseph and Trinity hospital in Minot, ND. She also worked at Towner County   Memorial Hospital and Rest Haven Manor in Cando, ND. Due to illness she left her job and lived with her parents in Bisbee.   She never married. Due to the death of her parents Delores moved to an apartment in Cando where she was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The last three years Delores was a resident of the Towner County Living Center in Cando.

She was also a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church in Minot, the Holy   Rosary Catholic Church of Bisbee and was a member of the Holy Rosary Alter Society. Delores wrote a bible study for the Holy Rosary Alter Society with the help of Father Edward Sherman. She attended Christian Women's Friendship Bible Studies, was the leader of the Little Rock Scripture studies in her church and also did custodial work for her church.

Delores was a member of the Top Notcher's 4-H club, she belonged to the Bisbee sewing Club and was a member of the Book Club in Cando. She assisted her mother as news correspondent for the Towner County Record Herald.

She enjoyed doing crafts such as needle point, hardanger, crocheting and quilting.

She is survived by her sister Elaine (Roger) Stensrud of Litchfield, MN; her two nephews: Josh (Tammy) Ensign of Buxton, ND and Zach (Melissa)Ensign of Sartell, MN. She is also survived by 5 great nieces: Kaitlin, Lora, Megan, Beretta and Benelli Ensign and one great nephew, Hoyt Ensign.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Genevieve (Phillipp) Krick, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
