Diane Barker, 77, of Minnetonka, MN, formerly of Cando, ND passed away on January 16, 2016 in her home.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Cando Lutheran Church in Cando, ND with Rev. Bonnie Weaver officiating. Interment will be in the spring at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Cando. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Honorary casket bearers will be Elmer Barker, Rick Barker, David Thoele, Paul Sempf and Harley Peterson. Music will be provided by Roberta Mundahl and Lynette Lybeck.

Diane was born on January 29, 1938 in Rugby, ND to Roy and Myrtle Peterson. She graduated in 1956 from Cando High School. She was united in marriage to Elmer Barker on April 4, 1956 in Cando.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Teri (Paul) Sempf of Maple Plain, MN and a brother, Harley Peterson of Cando, ND.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; husband Elmer Barker, and son Rick Barker.
