Gary Ray Lacey, 73, of Cando, ND passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the Towner County Living Center in Cando. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Cando City Park in Cando, ND on Sunday May 26, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with Father Daniel Musgrave officiating.

Gary was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN. His parents were Jim Busch and Betty Johnson. He graduated from South High School and got a Welding Degree. He worked as a Steelworker in Minneapolis for a time. He met Holly St. Claire and the couple married on January 29, 1986 in Cando. He worked at Noodles by Leonardo for many years in Cando and also Integra. He was a Pastor and went to visit inmates in area jails and prisons.

He is survived by his wife, Holly Lacey; children, Michael (Teresa) Lacey, Brian (Brenda) Lacey, Jesse (Christie) Lacey, and Isaiah Lacey; siblings, Cheryl Lacey, Sandra Lacey, Bobby Lacey, and Kenny (Charli) Lacey; and many grandkids, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Betty, brothers, Chuck Lacey and Wayne Lacey, and granddaughter Elizabeth Lacey.
