Gregory Allen Vesterso, 63, of Egeland, ND passed away on October 12, 2015 in Blaine, MN after losing his battle with kidney cancer. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Egeland School, in Egeland, ND with Reverend Rob Buechler officiating. Honorary casket bearers will be Kevin Thompson, Ryan Gibbens, Curt Broderick, Kent Vesterso, Joe Rinas and Maynard Jacksen.
Music will be provided by Claudia Nikolaisen. Military Honors will be provided by the North Dakota Military Funeral Honors Team. Interment will be at the Union Cemetery in Egeland. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the Egeland school. After the memorial service, friends are invited to join the family for a reception at the Pit Stop on Hwy 66 in Egeland, ND.

Gregory was born in Devils Lake, ND on August 15, 1952 to Palmer and Betty (Thomas) Vesterso of Egeland, ND. He graduated from Egeland High School in 1970. He married Elaine Kaufman on September 2, 1972, in Bisbee, ND.
He farmed his grandfather's original homestead for 26 years before retiring. He later worked for Sky-Can, as their feed mill manager, in Cando, ND.
He is a veteran of the US Army; he was stationed in Fort Leonard Wood, MO.
He is survived by his children: Danielle Vesterso and Scott Stewart, Roanoke, VA; Tressa (Vesterso) and Kyle Busch, Blaine, MN; and Josh and Amanda (Bonn) Vesterso, Grand Forks, ND. His grandchildren: Ada and Boden Busch and Gavin, Kellen and Molly Vesterso. His Mother: Betty Vesterso, Sister's Cathy (Vesterso) and Doug Beck; and Jane (Vesterso) Remmen.
He is preceded in death by his father, Palmer Vesterso and his first wife Elaine Kaufman Vesterso.
