Janice A. Pederson (Fuchsgruber), 81, of Cando, ND passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Towner County Living Center in Cando.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cando, ND with Fr. Daniel Musgrave, celebrant on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 4pm. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at a later date.

Due to Covid-19, the following CDC recommendations are highly encouraged: social distancing, hand cleansing and sanitization, and wearing masks. Please stay home if you are not feeling well or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.

Janice Fuchsgruber was born on August 31, 1938 in Cando, ND to Herman and Mozelle (Arthur) Fuchsgruber, the second of four children. She graduated from Cando High School in 1956, then attended college at North Dakota State School of Science. and attended two years of college.  Janice married Manning Pederson on December 27, 1958, at Cando. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Fargo, ND where Janice was employed at Fargo Glass & Paint and Blue Cross and Blue Shield. They moved back to Cando in 1962.  Janice worked for George M. Ackre and his associates for thirty-nine years and nine months.

Janice was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, bowling and darts

Janice is survived by her three sons: Dirk Pederson, Troy (Annette Johnson) Pederson and Lane (Valerie) Pederson all of Cando, ND, four grandchildren, Amanda (Jon), Shane (Courtney), Travis (Megan) and Sarah, great-grandchildren, Addisyn, Briar, Kaysen, Huntley, Taya and Evelyn, one sister Donalene (Kip) Moore of Fargo, ND, two brothers, Larry (Kim) Fox of Cando, ND and Mark Fox of Buena Vista, CO, sister-in-law Marlene Miller of Cando, ND.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and Manning Pederson.
