Jeffrey Otto Solseth, 60, of Cando, ND passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at his home in Cando, ND. Visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 am with Father Daniel Musgrave officiating at the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home in Cando, ND.

Jeff was born to Kenneth Solseth and Mary (Hanson) Solseth on August 23, 1964 in Cando, ND.  He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Cando High School in 1983.  At the age of 18 he took over the farm and continued farming until 2005. He continued farming the land with Reed Farms.  He loved working on the farm.  Jeff married Carolyn Gores on October 26, 1985 in Bisbee, ND.

Jeff loved to hunt and fish in his boat.  He also enjoyed bowling, riding motorcycle, playing cards and cooking.  He was happiest going to the lake, camping with family and friends and going fishing with his sons.  Being "papa" to his 7 grandchildren brought great joy and peace to him.

Jeff is survived by his 3 children: Chris Solseth (Allison) of Churchs Ferry, ND; Lynnsey Moyer (Joe) of Cando, ND and Ryan Solseth of Fargo, ND; 7 grandchildren: Aleigha, Connor, Caden, Paityn, Rilynn, Olivia and Everly: one sister Patricia Ebensteiner and sister-in-law Candy Solseth.  Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Mary Solseth, brothers Greg and Gordon Solseth and sister Debra Solseth.
