Jennifer was born April 29, 1974 in Devils Lake, ND, where she was raised and educated. She moved to Rugby, ND following school, where she worked various jobs. Jenn began working for M.J. McGuire Company in Rugby as a receptionist/title clerk. She met her husband Chad, while working at M.J. McGuire, and both knew immediately that had both found their soul mates and wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. The couple was united in marriage on July 29, 2022 in Spearfish Canyon, SD and made their home in Rolette. Holidays involved Jenn cooking all the meals and playing board games afterwards. She looked forward to having their "annual" birthday celebrations so she could entertain and cook for all family and friends. After Chad joined the Snapper softball team, she officially became the team "Mom" and was the biggest fan attending all the games.
Jenn enjoyed outdoor activities with family and friends, especially bonfires and side by side rides. She enjoyed watching True Crime TV on the Investigation Discovery channel, hunting and fishing. Music was always a big part of her life, so a speaker was always heard playing a wide variety of music. Jenn loved getting her flowerpots filled each spring and watching them blossom while taking care of them all summer. She had a love for dogs and cats, having had lots of pets over the years. Jenn also loved watching football and after meeting Chad became a huge Duke Blue Devils fan. Her other favorite teams were the Denver Broncos and Minnesota Wild.
Jenn's favorite past time was spent with her children and granddaughter – they were the biggest thing in her life and she would do anything for them. She was a great mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Chad; children, Samantha (Travis), Devon (Kylee), and Joey (Kenadi); granddaughter, Paisley; mother, Cynthia Longie; brother, Chuck (Shawna) Longie; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike; her maternal and paternal grandparents.
