Obituary

Jered Kendell Graber, 53, of Bisbee, ND passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 in rural Mylo, ND. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Rolette, ND with Pastor Gene Wilson Officiating.  Visitation will be held at the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home in Cando, ND on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. family service and also for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will take place at the Rolette Cemetery.

Jered was born on August 4, 1971 to Jackie Graber and Ardis Pepple in Rolette, North Dakota. He attended Rolette Public School and graduated in 1991.

After high school, Jered custom combined before attending North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton. He graduated with two degrees in Auto Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic in 1993. After college, he moved back home and farmed with his dad, Jack, until 1997. Then, he moved to Mandan and worked as an auto mechanic for a year. After that, he moved to Maddock and worked as a farm hand for a year. In Spring of 1999 he moved to Bisbee where he custom combined for one season and then worked for Charlie Bursinger for a couple of years. In 2001, he decided to start farming and ranching on his own.

Jered married Kathleen Meyer in April 1999 and to this union was born two children, Kelli Jo Thomas (Graber) and Kole Kendell Graber.

If you knew Jered, then you know that farming and ranching were his entire life. When he did have spare time, he enjoyed building cars to race in the Enduro and Stock races. After he quit racing, he still made it to the Enduro race at the NDSF each year with his family to watch. Jered also enjoyed hunting for a buck when he could get a tag, and going out West in Montana to ride snowmobile. Over the last few winters, he went on a few trips to West Yellowstone with his son, Kole, and one trip with his son-in-law, Riley.

Jered is survived by his children, Kelli (Riley) Thomas, and Kole (Mackenzie) Graber, his father, Jack Graber, his brother, Rondy Graber, his aunts, Marlene (Terry) Thompson, Connie (Al) Snell, Carol (Dewey) Yoder, Joann Shrock, Karen Stucky and his uncle, Sherman Graber, several cousins, nieces and nephews, and Kelli and Kole's mother, Kathleen Graber (Meyer) and her family.

Jered is preceded in death with his mom, Ardis Pepple, grandparents, Adolf and Regina Pepple, and Joseph and Velda Graber, and uncles, Monte Graber, Ed (Junior) Shrock, and Dellan Pepple, and Mary Lou Meyer.
