John Melvin Moller,65, Bisbee, ND passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks N.D. A Graveside Service will be held at the Bisbee Lutheran Cemetery on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bonnie Weaver officiating. Following the service, a reception will be held at the Bisbee Senior Center.
John was born in Rugby, ND on August 19, 1951 to John M. Moller and Hazel (Birkland) Moller.
He grew up in Bisbee ND and graduated from Bisbee High School. He then attended NDSU in Fargo where he earned a BS degree in History and Education. He taught school and worked in the service industry in Minneapolis, and later in Chicago, IL. John became well known for his home-style cooking skills in the Bisbee and Cando local area restaurants.
John returned to the Bisbee and Cando area where he became the primary caregiver to his mother Hazel for many years. His kindness and love for people and bingo made everyone around him smile with his silly sense of humor.
John loved to collect old cars and tinker with them for hours on end. He finally got the red Chevy pickup he always wanted.
John is survived by brothers Marvin Moller (Kathy) in Petaluma, California, and Claude Moller, Bisbee, ND; sister Susan (Moller) Eggl (Don) in Carrollton TX; Nephew Jason Eggl (Judie) in Frisco TX; Niece Angela Skelton (Greg) in Carrollton, TX; Grand Nephews Jack & Cooper Eggl, and Grand Nieces Hope, Lilli, Taylor & Emma Skelton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Hazel Moller.
