Joseph Leo Sullivan Jr., 60, of Bisbee, ND passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at Sanford Health Palliative Care in Fargo, ND surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will take place Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Big Coulee Dam in Bisbee, ND at 11:00 am. A reception immediately following the service will be held at Dizzy's Bar in Bisbee, ND. Military Honors will be provided by the Hal Parker Post #79 Cando American Legion and the North Dakota Military Funeral Honors Team.

Joseph Leo Sullivan Jr., son of Joseph Sr. and Vada (Marcina) Sullivan was born on March 19, 1957 at Peru, Indiana. He lived in Okinawa, Japan until he was five. The family then moved Pendleton, Oregon where he grew up and graduated from Pendleton High School. Joseph joined the Navy in 1976 and was honorably discharged in 1977. Joseph lived in many places during his life. Joseph married Doris Smith on November 01, 2014 in Turlock, CA.
His hobbies and interests were golfing, fishing and anything outdoors. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Doris Sullivan; children, Johnny Sullivan, Joshua Sullivan, David Sullivan, Brandy Sullivan, Jimmy Sullivan, Julie Griffin, Billy Griffin and Stephanie Griffin; brother, Gary Sullivan; 18 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents.
