Kenny was born on September 23, 1943 in Rolla, North Dakota to Esther and Otto Tuenge. He grew up spending time working on the family farm and going fishing with his dad. He attended schools in the Bowbell's area. After high school, he worked for several farmers in the area before venturing into the trucking industry where he spent the rest of his working career. Kenny had millions of miles of road experience and adventures behind him. He was always willing to share a good story with anyone he could find to talk with. He spent 30 years in the Flagstaff and Phoenix, Arizona area where he also worked in the Construction Industry. Kenny loved Arizona and always had many stories to share about his time there. Kenny met his late wife Karen in Phoenix in 1982 and they were married the same year. A few years ago, they moved back to the Cando area where they enjoyed many good times with friends and family.
Kenny was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and camping. He spent many hours on the lake in search of the "big one". He loved spending time on his motorcycle and was a member of the Abate Club. Kenny and Karen took several road trips together. He was a huge animal lover and enjoyed his fur babies (dogs) Max and Bobo. Kenny also enjoyed gardening with Karen. Kenny was a wonderful man to have as an uncle and a friend. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.
He was blessed with two beautiful children daughter Kim and son Kory. Kenny's beloved son Kory was taken from this world at the young age of 3. Kenny carried that pain with him his entire life.
Kenny married his wife Audrey December 2, 2016. They enjoyed cooking and baking together. They had planned on going south this past winter to spend time with friends but his failing health stopped him from making that happen.
Kenny was a very strong man. The past few months have been very difficult for him. He amazed us all with his strength and how he dealt with his illness. He was blessed with the presence of his daughter thru the worst of his illness. He was so grateful that she was there for him.
Kenny was a member of the Lakeview Lutheran Church in Egeland, ND.
Kenny is survived by his wife Audrey Tuenge of Cando, North Dakota, daughter Kim Dienstmann of Boise, Idaho, Sister Darlene Gunderson, Ana Cortes, Washington, numerous nieces and nephews and his special nephew Rick Free, Billings, Montana. Rick was like a son to Kenny.
He was preceded in death by his parents Esther and Otto Tuenge, Son Kory Tuenge, wife Karen Tuenge, Sisters Irene Carter, Margaret Free and Brother Ray Tuenge.

The family would like to express a special thank you to all the friends, family, Hospice and Medical staff for their kindness and care of Kenny and his family.
