Leo Charles Bursinger, Jr. "Charlie", 74, of Bisbee, ND passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Bisbee Lutheran Church, with a prayer service at 7 PM. Services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 2 PM at Bisbee Lutheran Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Bisbee Lutheran Cemetery, Bisbee, ND, following the Saturday Service. Casket Bearers will be Brian Larson, Steven Peters, Dave Solberg, Bob Weltin, Vernon Church and Jim Simpson. Honorary Pall Bearers are Steve Berg and Marvin Mann. Music will be provided by Mary Ellen Peters and Jeri Gable.

Charlie was born on September 8, 1943 to Leo and Cora (Christopherson) Bursinger in Cando, ND. Charlie was baptized and a confirmed lifetime member of Bisbee Lutheran church. Charlie attended Bisbee Public School and graduated in 1961. He then attended Wahpeton State School of Science for one year to study mechanics.

On November 6, 1964, Charlie was united in marriage to Carol Bishop. The couple resided in Bisbee throughout their lives together. Charlie worked for Flap Gores as a well driller. He worked for Towner County for a number of years. Charlie then went on to work for CA Simpson & Son drilling water wells. In 1998, Charlie purchased the well drilling business and it was renamed Bursinger Drilling. He continued to drill water wells until 2015. Charlie has farmed in the Bisbee area since the early 1980's.

In his spare time, Charlie enjoyed many of the simple things in life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and family. Charlie looked forward to his daily visits to The Chocolate Shop, followed by a drive to the farm. In addition, Charlie enjoyed gardening with his wife Carol. He also looked forward to his annual fishing trip to Alaska.

Charlie is survived by his wife Carol, sons Kelly Bursinger of Bisbee, ND his two children Kyler and Kelsey; Travis (Lisa) Bursinger of Grand Forks, ND and their two children Landen and Talen; brother Rodney (Joyce) Bursinger of Bottineau, ND and sister Lynette (Tony) Galow of Bisbee, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Carol Berg and Barbara Oakland.
