Leora Jones, 98, of Saint Peters, MO, formerly of Cando, ND, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 in Missouri. Loving wife of the late Leland Jones; beloved daughter of the late John and Anna Arthur; devoted mother of Sandra L. (William) Jones-Ireland of Prince Edward Island, Canada, David L. Jones; cherished grandmother of Michael David (Kathleen Waddell-Jones) Jones; treasured great-grandmother of Thomas Jones, Patrick Jones, and Alexandria Jones. Leora is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Barbara Jones; and six siblings.

Leora was a formal member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She grew up on a farm and worked side by side with her husband, Leland, in their family businesses. Leora was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO, on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A second visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home, 404 4th Ave., Cando, ND, from 1 PM to 4 PM. Memorials may be made in Leora's name to the Order of the Eastern Star. Burial will be held in the spring at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Cando, ND.
