Lorraine Mae Clouse, 83, of Rock Lake, ND passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Towner County Living Center in Cando, ND. Private Family Funeral Services will be on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home in Cando, ND with Don Smith and Gwen Aarestad officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home in Cando, ND. Interment will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rock Lake, ND on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 2:30 PM. Casket bearers will be Lorraine's granddaughters and great granddaughters; Nicole Walford, Julia Clouse, Jalane Veer, Kaitlyn Haugen, Kylie Henry, Abigail Oakland, Alexis Walford, Kennedy Bucholz, Mila Oakland and Charleigh Clouse. Honorary bearers will be Lorraine's grandsons and great-grandsons; Greg and Brady Henderson; Justin, Brock, Shannon, Ty, Austin, Breece, Keifer and William Oakland; Jesse, Tracy, Lucas, Owen and Jaeger Bucholz; Kelvin, Ryder and Levi Clouse; Shilo Henry; Jaxon Rich; Avery Veer and Ian Walford.
Lorraine was born June 12, 1935 to Roy and Julia (Johnson) O'Brien. She married Ardell "Fibber" Clouse on February 7, 1953. Fibber and Lorraine raise their children on a farm north of Rock Lake. Lorraine loved working in her flower gardens, golfing with her sister and bowling with her friends. Her favorite thing was time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Whenever there was a family crisis, she was always there.
Lorraine is survived by her children Cathy (Brian) Larson, Cindy (Gene) Oakland, Kevin (Laura) Clouse, Kelly (Ronnette) Clouse, Chris (Mark) Haugen and Stacy (Darrell) Britt. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister LaVerne Haberstroh, her son Craig and grandsons Ryan Henderson and Chase Clouse.
