Mary Lou Meyer, 75, Rolette, ND, Formerly of Bisbee, ND, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND. Service of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Bisbee, with Fr. Philip Chacko, celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Bisbee. Visitation will be at the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation on Thursday will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Casket bearers will be Tyler Meyer, Joe Sha, Brent Meyer, Chase Mattern, Matt Hendrickson, Jacob Keil, and Kole Graber. Honorary bearers will be all of Mary Lou's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary Lou was born in Osage, MN on May 27, 1939, to Phillip and Gertrude (Haberle) Erickson. She lived in many different towns in MN until moving to ND while still in her teens. She married Eugene Meyer on October 21, 1956. The couple lived in Olmstead and Egeland before making their home in Bisbee, ND in 1979. In 2000 she moved to the farm in Rolette area with Jack Graber till her death. Mary Lou worked the potato fields, the grocery store in Egeland, The Chocolate Shop Café in Bisbee, ND, but her fulltime job was mother to eleven children. She enjoyed watching sports, Nascar, reading, going to the casino, and playing cards. She loved the "Big Family Get Togethers" and will always be remembered for being a very loving mother, wife, and companion.
Mary Lou is survived by her children: Mike (Maletta) Meyer of Casselton, ND, Marlin Meyer of Fargo, ND, Mark (Laura) Meyer of Mesa, AZ, Butch Meyer of Tioga, ND, Tina (Keith) Hendrickson of Bisbee, ND, Anita Sha of Bisbee, ND, Mary (Gordy Wenzel) Meyer of Brandon, SD, Karl (Li) Meyer of Tioga, ND, Ron Meyer of Bisbee, ND, Toni (Toby) Mattern of Epping, ND, and Kathleen (Jered) Graber of Bisbee, ND. She was blessed with 23 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Siblings: Robert (Sue LaRude) Erickson, Everette (Nancy) Erickson, Harold (Sally) Erickson, and Aunie Hockenberry. In laws: Kenny (Linda) Meyer, Janice (Larry) Gores, and Delmer Houim. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eugene Meyer; Brothers: Alvin and 3 infant brothers, Sister: Lucy. Sister in law: Mary Ann Houim.
