Phoebe Lynnette "Brown" Geisen, 93, of Bisbee, ND, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the Towner County Medical Center in Cando, ND.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Bisbee Cemetery at 1:00 PM with Rev. Bonnie Weaver officiating.
Phoebe was born on April 15, 1925 in St. Paul, MN. She attended school and graduated from Bisbee High School in 1942. Phoebe went to work as a civilian at Hill Air Force Base in Utah with her aunt Cora (Forberg) Gebur during World War II. She married Francis "Sonny" Geisen on December 16, 1944. She was a homemaker and did many things for the Conoco Oil Gas Station that Sonny owned.
Phoebe was involved in many community activities: American Legion Auxiliary, member of Bisbee Lutheran Church ladies aide, 4-H leader, Cub Scout Leader, community plays. Phoebe loved to bake she loved making bread, cookies, and cakes. She would always have something on hand when people stopped by to visit.
Phoebe is survived by her 3 children: Carol Cookman (Fargo), Nancy Geisen (Fargo), and Mike Geisen (Bisbee);
5 Grandchildren: Terry(Susan)West Fargo, Tim (Amy)(Wahpeton), Russell (Fargo), Erik (Fargo), and Amy (Pat)(Bismarck);
7 Great-Grandchildren: Nathan, Jadyn, Kasey, Kambry, Gunnar, Austyn, and Anna,
She was proceeded in death her husband Francis "Sonny" Geisen, her parents Lillian (Forberg) Brown and Vince Brown, half-brother Wayne Brown, Son-In-Law Wayne Cookman.
