Renee Sears, 61, of Cando, ND went home to be with the Lord on September 10th, 2019. She was born and raised in Troy, MO on November 10th, 1957 to Robert E. Bell Sr. and Maxine Bell (Walton). She has one brother, Robert E. Bell Jr. (Tammye) of Louisiana, and three sisters; Carol Cook (Ed) of Tennessee, Judith Devoto of Missouri, Leslie Goggin (Terry) of Missouri, along with many, many, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Renee graduated Buchanan High School in 1976 in Troy, Missouri and joined the United States Air Force from 1976 - 1986.
She loved singing and playing in the church music group. She loved to play her guitar. She loved God, her church, her family, and her fur babies.
Renee and her husband, Joseph Sears, were married on February 19th, 2004 in Troy, Missouri. She has six children, Brandon Turner of Illinois, Christopher Turner of North Dakota, Wadean "Michele" Fernandes (Jack) of Florida, Shanna Cowan (Mike) of Illinois, Regina Ellis (Matthew) of Ohio, Lloyd Turner Jr. (Jaimie) of Illinois. She also has ten grandchildren, Swayze and Saylor Turner, Aiden and Slade Cowan, Dalton, Hunter, and Eliza Ellis, Ryan and Nicholas Turner, and Dillon Taylor.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Maxine Bell; sister, Leslie Goggin; sister, Judith DeVoto; and brother, Robert E. Bell Jr.
Renee always gave of herself to others. She has donated her body to the UND Medical Sciences School for the advancement of medical science in lieu of a funeral. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Christian Fellowship Church in Cando, ND with Pastor Jeff Peters officiating.
