Ricardo C. Keim, 35, of Calvin, ND passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Towner County Medical Center in Cando, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, November 28, 2017, 11:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Rock Lake, ND with Father Thai Arul and Msgr. Dennis Skonseng  celebranting the mass.  Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Cando. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Casket Bearers will be Ross Hendrickson, Sam Held, Travis Keim, Claudio Keim, Roberto Keim and Enrique Keim. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Aaron Schuler, Ardell Schuler, Cyle Keim and Steven Martz. Music will be provided by Catherine Anfinson and Peg Hendrickson.

Ricardo Charles Keim, 35, was born May 22, 1982 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He was adopted by Charles at the age of 10 and was raised on the family farm. Ricardo attended and graduated from Rock lake Public School in 2002. He met Crystal Scott while in high school and the two of them had a family together and lived in Crookston for many years.Ricardo returned home December of 2016.  He experienced a great loss when Crystal passed away on June 3, 2017.

Ricardo had such an incredible love for his 3 children. He enjoyed nature whether he and the kids were walking through the fields, fishing or just sitting at night and listening to all the sounds of nature. He also had a great love for animals. You could often find him down with the horses. He had 1 dog and 1 cat. Ricardo also loved music of all genres and always had music playing. His all time favorite artist was Johnny Cash.

Ricardo is survived by his father Charles of Calvin, ND; his brothers Claudio (DeEtta Sadowsky) Cando, ND, Travis (Amberly Massie) Cando, ND and Roberto (Jana Price) Bismarck, ND; his aunts Carol (Jim) Schuler of Devils Lake, ND and Colleen (Mike) Mattson of Fargo, ND; along with cousins, nieces and nephews. Ricardo is preceded in death by his grandparents Paul and Leona Keim.
