Richard 'Rick' Wagner, 59, of Cando, ND, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Towner County Medical Center in Cando. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Daniel Musgrave officiating. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral service at the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home.

Rick was born July 1, 1962 in Cando, ND, the son of George and Janice (Arion) Wagner. He attended school in Cando where he participated in sports and graduated from Cando High School. He began to farm in 1980, took over the family farm in 1991, and continued to farm until his passing. Rick loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.

Rick is survived by his fiancé, Darla Moore of Cando, ND; mother, Janice Wagner of Cando, ND; sister, Kathy (Dave) Johns of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, Rob (Nancy) Wagner of Cando, ND; step-children, Darby (Jay) Welsh of Grand Forks, ND, Abby (Jarod) Roach of Grand Forks, ND; step-grandchildren, Vada, Judd & Daphne Welsch; nieces and nephews, Nolan (Terri) Straabe of Phoenix, AZ, Randi Bergo of Phoenix, AZ, Mandy (Tamas) Kovacs of Windsor, CO, Adam Kessler of Tucson, AZ, Lindsey (Jeremiah) Masterson of Cando, ND, and Austin and Alexis Wagner of Cando, ND.

Rick was proceeded in death by his father.
