Ronald Knutt, 70, Bisbee, ND passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at his home in Bisbee.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 1 to 3 p.m., sharing of memories Wednesday, 2:30 p.m., both in Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home, Cando. Cremation took place; no service is planned. Private burial will be at a later date. The family prefers memorials to an organization of the donor's choice.

Ronald was born March 23, 1943 in Cando, ND, the son of Walter and Pauline (Klebaum) Knutt. He grew up on a farm near Rock Lake and graduated from Cando High School. Ronald served in the North Dakota Army National Guard and returned to farming in various ways until the time of his death. He was married in 1979, but was later divorced. Ronald was active in dance clubs, attending and displaying antique tractors in shows, and helping out his son Joshua on the farm.

Ronald is survived by his sons: Matthew (Amanda) Knutt of Junction City, KS and Joshua Knutt of Grand Forks, ND; grandson Tyler Maddox Knutt of Junction City, KS; brother Wallis (Helen) Knutt of Rock Lake, ND; sisters-in-law: Marcella (Jerald) Frye and Deanna Knutt of Minot, ND and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Welton, Robert, Albert and still born baby boy; and sister Anna Mae.
