Stacy Alvin Klein, 54, of Alsen, ND passed away suddenly Friday, November 11, 2022 at his home.  Vigil Services will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home in Cando, ND with Fr. Daniel Musgrave officiating.  Visitation will take place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Rosary beginning at 6:45 PM prior to the service. Stacy Alvin Klein was born April 26, 1968 to Alvin and Barbara (Dease) Klein in Devils Lake, ND.  He grew up in Alsen, ND and attended Munich Public School, graduating with the class of 1986.  Stacy was united in marriage to Cheri Myklebust, and to this union, the couple welcomed Stacy's pride and joy, his kids, Jordan and Jocelyn.

After graduating high school, Stacy attended Lake Region State College, obtaining a degree in auto mechanics. He returned to Alsen, and began farming with his uncle Leonard Klein. Stacy continued to live in Alsen where he spent several years working for Severson Farms as a hired hand.  Following that, he managed the local Farmer's Union Fertilizer Plant. He would also help other local farmer friends during their busy seasons to pass time. Stacy loved the sport of curling and was a member of The Alsen Curling Club, before its closure. Everyone that knew Stacy, knew he was an avid sportsman; for him, it was a way of life. He enjoyed fishing trips to Canada for trophy walleyes, shed hunting, shooting big whitetail bucks with both his bow and rifle, competitive trap shooting, and even hatching and raising birds in his own yard. His greatest pride was passing along his love for the outdoors to his children. Stacy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Stacy is survived by his son, Jordan Klein (Megan) of Loveland, CO; daughter, Jocelyn Klein (Brett) of Williston, ND; grandchildren, Remi Klein and Beau Miller; mother, Barbara Klein; brother, Brian Klein and sister, Kim Elsperger (Johnny); nieces Avery, Tatum and Kendra.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin; brother, Randy Klein; maternal and paternal grandparents.
