Stephan Smith, 58, of Cando, ND passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the Towner County Living Center in Cando, ND.

Stephan Stanley Smith was born on July 14, 1950 to Stanley and Agnes (Phillipp) Smith in Washington DC. He and his family later moved to Kansas City, Kansas. Stephan lost both of his parents when he was a young child. He moved to Bisbee, ND and lived with his aunt and uncle Olivia and Andy Korb.
Stephan was married to Sandy Marsh. They had three
children: Angie, Ray, and Shane. They made their home in Jamestown, ND. Later they were divorced. Stephan lived in Bisbee and later in the Towner County Living Center in Cando, ND.

He is survived by his children: Angie, Ray, and Shane, aunts Olivia Korb and Cary Kendrick, uncle George Phillipp and several cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Agnes and Stanley Smith and several aunts and uncles.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cando, ND on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 10:00.

VISITATION will be held one hour prior to service.

Interment will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2009 following services at the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Bisbee, ND.
