Theodore "Ted" Armstrong, 77, of Cando, ND passed away May 1, 2015 in the comfort of his home. Services will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 at 2:00PM at the Cando Lutheran Church in Cando, ND with Pastor Bonnie Weaver officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. Music will be provided by Roberta Mundahl and Carol Hunt.

Theodore I. Armstrong was born on May 26, 1937 to Arthur and Phyllis (Lund) Armstrong in Rolette, ND. After graduating High School in 1955, Theodore married Louise Klayson on June 10, 1961 at the Wolford Lutheran Church in Wolford, ND.

He was a man of the earth and a true blue farmer. Theodore enjoyed spending time with all his friends and family drinking coffee, playing cards, board games and dominoes. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Theodore is survived by his wife of 53 years, Louise; children: Todd (Melodee) Armstrong, Toby (Jill) Armstrong and Tami Jo (Thomas) Johnson; grandchildren: Christopher and Josh Armstrong, Robert and Taylor Armstrong, Alexander and Montgomery Belmont and two great granddaughters; step grandchildren: Michael, Kayla and Marcus Sell, Mytch Johnson and a step great grandson; siblings: Rex Armstrong, Jean (Wilfred) Tuomala, Janet (Greg) Westlind, Ginger Armstrong (Linda Hochstetler)

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Phyllis; a brother, Lee Arthur Armstrong; grandparents, Seward and Lavinia Armstrong, Martin and Hazel Lund, step grandmother Daisy Lund, sister-in-law Patricia Armstrong and nephew James Allen.
