Valorie Rochelle "Shelley" Armstrong, 54, Hansboro, ND, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.  Graveside services will be held Monday, December 31, 2012, 11:00 AM at Hansboro Cemetery in Hansboro, ND.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hansboro Hall following the service. Casket Bearers will be Robert Maxwell, Derek Maxwell, Austin Maxwell, Todd Kaylor, Kent Kaylor  and Matt Dunlop.

Shelley was born on May 2, 1958 to Hubert and Wilhelmina (Smith)Seghers in Cartwright, Manitoba. She was raised in Hansboro, ND and graduated from Rolla High School. Shelley always had a beautiful smile for everyone. She always had a positive uplifting attitude and put others first in her life. She kept her outstanding sense of humor right to the end of her life.

She is survived by siblings: Lou Crawford, Ron Seghers, Bonnie (Ken) Kaylor, Doug (Louise) Seghers, Phillip (Shirley) Seghers, Toni (Gene) Evans, Jim Seghers, Renae (Rob) Maxwell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Wilhelmina, brother Jack, sister-in-law Myrna, and brother-in-law Ken Crawford.

Shelley, how does one say goodbye. You were a great influence in my life. I will cherish and remember all the great times we shared while we were growing up. The times we laughed together and cried together. The times we tried to walk in a canoe in the middle of the lake and neither of us could swim. Or the times we would go to watch the Royals game rain or shine, just to see our favorite royals players. There is much more great times we shared, that I will never forget and will look back and remember often. You are now a diamond in the sky watching down over all of us. Soar high with the angels, until we meet again.

Shelley, We were so sorry to hear about your passing.  You were always fun to be around and just remembering my long bus rides so I could stay longer at the "pink spot" in Hansboro, or play cards longer on the bus.  Good thing my dad was the bus driver!!  Fun times were had over the years....when you turned "40" and I stuck posters all around the OUTSIDE of your house.  HA..the laughs. Thanks so much for being a friend, you are missed.

I just found out about Shelley yesterday and I was in absolute shock.  I can't believe it.  Shelley, You can't sum her up in a few words.  Her and I had so many good times together, we laughed, we cried and shared many hugs.  I was Thelma and she was Louise.  Her favorite saying when we were together was "I got your purse Mildred lets go".  She always told me she wanted her epitaph to read "She was fun while she lasted".  That truly was her sense of humor.  I loved her very much and will forever miss her and never forget her.
