William J. "Bill" Collins Jr., 60, of Churchs Ferry, ND passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at his farm home in Churchs Ferry, ND. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 10:00 am at the United Methodist Church in Cando with Pastor Rick Craig officiating. Burial will be at the Leeds Lutheran Cemetery, Leeds, ND. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to the service. Casket bearers will be Allen Bonn, Barry Mawby, Codey Martindale, Jason Martindale and Kelly Smeltzer. Music will be provided by Roberta Mundahl.
William J. Collins son of William and Mary Ann (Cones) Collins was born July 15, 1955 at St. Francis Hospital in Beach Grove, Indiana. He lived mainly in Indiana, and spent 5 years in Mission Viejo, California. William graduated from Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana. William and his wife Lori moved to Churches Ferry, North Dakota in September, 2014 and have made their home at her family farm. William loved camping and the outdoors.
William is survived by his wife Lori (Albertson) Collins; children William (Bess) and Heather (Ryan) Bisard; step-children Codey (Julie) and Jason Martindale; mother Mary Ann; brother Robert and sister Beverly (Hobbs). He was preceded in death by his father.
