Yvonne Irene Wandler, 86, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2015 at St. Francis Residence in Cando, ND.
Burial will take place in Bowman, ND at a later date.
Yvonne lived a life full of laughter and love. She brought light to any room she entered. She was born to Julius and Ludwina Van Daele, the 4th of 10 children on January 26, 1929 in Rhame, ND. She attended Bullion Country School with her siblings, occasionally riding to school by horseback, often four of the children all at once.
She married Louis Germann in 1948 in Bowman N. D. They had four children Diana, David, Denise, and Elisa.
A woman of many talents, she was a farmer, bartender, waitress, wife, mother, gas station attendant, fisherwoman, craftswoman and most of all, friend to all she met. She loved nothing more than visiting with friends and family, always quick with a story and a smile. A consummate creator, her crocheting prowess was well known. Generous to a fault, her creations now have a place in many homes of friends and family.
Yvonne is survived by Diana Elsperger of Cando, ND. David Germann, Denise and John Miller of Round Lake, Ill and Elisa and Tony Ballard of Vacaville, Ca. She was blessed with 11 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Susan Steinwand, Janet Bacon, Lauren Van Daele, Lawrence Van Daele, and Julia Van Daele.
A light to all she knew, her smile and laughter will be missed.
